About Youth Adventure Week

Youth Adventure Week is a weeklong outdoor program hosted in Shenandoah National Park for youth ages 11–15. Participants will camp at Big Meadows Campground, complete park service projects, attend ranger-led talks, and explore the park’s natural and cultural history through hiking and hands-on learning.

This program is designed to connect youth to nature, build confidence in the outdoors, and foster stewardship of public lands.
