join us for an invasive plant removal restoration event in Rock Creek Park. Invasive plants are a major threat to our fragile forests, and stopping their spread helps allow for a thriving native understory. Thank you for helping us to protect Rock Creek! The event is free but registration is required.

Volunteers should bring:  water and snacks.  We strongly recommend wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and for a few hours outdoors, pants rather than shorts, and closed-toed shoes or boots.  No sandals or flip-flops.  We work with sharp tools and don't want anyone get injured.  Tools will be supplied

Volunteers should meet at the picnic shelter near the corner of Madison & Kansas Ave NW. Street parking is available.
