Soul Trak Event Details
Description: You will learn about the history and ecology of the Anacostia River and the progress towards river restoration during a kayak tour.
Meeting Location:
Boat ramp at Anacostia Park across from Aquatic Resources Education Center
The Aquatic Resources Education Center is located at 1500 Anacostia Drive. There is ample parking, and the boat ramp is also accessible from the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
What to Wear/Bring:
All participants must arrive wearing a face mask. We will have some hand sanitizer available, but please feel free to bring your own. We recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat and bringing water. You might also want to bring a towel and a ziploc or dry bag to keep your belongings dry.
Note:
All tours are weather dependent. We will proceed in light rain, but may need to cancel if there is heavy rain, lightning, or strong wind in the forecast.
