Soul Trak’s Environmental Leadership Cohort Presents:
Outdoor Heritage 2024
Kenilworth Park
(Located just south of Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens)
Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 10-1 p.m.
The event will take place at Kenilworth Park. Parking will be available at the Kenilworth Recreation Center (4321 Ord St NW, Washington DC 20019), as well as along Anacostia Ave and Ord St. Our sign-in area is marked on the attached map. There you find a table with a Soul Trak Outdoors cloth on it.
Join Soul Trak’s Environmental Leadership Cohort to celebrate the history of our native lands. Activities will include indigenous storytelling, native plant workshops, and art. The event will highlight indigenous culture, foraging, and contribution to National Parks land.
Light snacks will be provided, but please feel free to bring snacks and water for the day. Participants should wear close toed shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
Note that this event is weather dependent and will proceed in light rain but may need to cancel if there is heavy rain, lightning, or strong wind in the forecast.
