Soul Trak and Seneca Rocks Climbing School partner to bring a day of advanced climbing at Seneca Rocks, WV.
Seneca Rocks is one of the best-known landmarks in West Virginia. These rocks have long been noted as a scenic attraction and are popular with rock climbers. The rocks are a magnificent formation rising nearly 900 feet above the North Fork River.
It will be a single-day event. We are advising folks to camp at Seneca Shadows which is 15 minute walk from our meeting point. The event will start at 8:30 am on Sunday. There will be an orientation which includes a review of basic knots and belaying, an introduction/review of rappelling, a look at removing gear placements, and look at the multi-pitch system before starting the climb on Sunday.
For those who want to avoid a long drive in the early morning, we will camp at nearby, Seneca Shadows camp, which is a half mile away from our meetup location on Allegheny Dr. Soul Trak can provide camping gear and help with transportation. Participants need to pack meals, freeze dried meals work best.
Cost: $190 per person.
