Soul Trak Event Details
Please join us for a fun day of service at:
Rock Creek Nature Center on the Upper Valley Trail
September 25, 2021
9am -12pm
Doug will meet you outside the Rock Creek Park Nature Center by 9 AM and get you all signed up (there's always forms when working on federal lands) and collect tools. Then we drive to the nearest trailhead at the Boundary Bridge parking lot. Doug will distribute tools and lead the group. We expect to finish by noon.
Volunteers should bring: gloves, a mask, water and any personal supplies that they require. We strongly recommend wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and for a few hours outdoors, pants rather than shorts, and closed-toed shoes or boots. No sandals or flip-flops. We work with heavy tools and don't want anyone get injured.
If anyone feels ill, we ask that they remain at home. Working outside in the open air is about as safe as one gets in terms of COVID these days, but nonetheless, volunteers should monitor their health before and during the event.
If you have any questions please email tyrhee@soultrak.com.
